TOURS Price List

 1.5 hours duration.  Tour the local village of Makangale and get an in-depth look at the lives of local villagers.  On this tour, you will visit the lighthouse, school, and caves of Pemba.  You will see how local women make soups, spices and baskets from island resources.  You can even help cook a meal! 

Half-day duration.  The best private beach on Pemba!  If you are looking for privacy and relaxing peace and serenity, this beautiful beach is the tour for you.  It is a 1.5-hour drive to the beach.   Transport car and fruits with waters is included.  Your fee supports the local village.  (Grilled fish lunch is an additional $10)

4 hours duration.  Visit our small city of Konde, where you will see the social life of Pemba locals, flying foxes, and our local market.  It is so amazing!  It is a 50-minute drive with transport included.  Market admission is included in the price. 

 3.5 hours duration.  Sail by moto boat to the beautiful sandbanks of Pemba Island. You can snorkel at the sandbank, and enjoy fresh fruit like mango, yaung conute, peanut, watermelon, pineapples and others fruits of Tanzania.

 2 hours duration.  Take a sailing boat to the Pemba Island channel during the amazing sunset.  Enjoy a refreshing drink and local fruits. 

 3 hours duration.  Sail in a traditional sail boat or moto boat.  First enjoy game fishing, then local fishing.  There are many amazing fish in the ocean waters of Tanzania, such as king fish, tuna fish, sail fish, and others.  Local fish include red snapper, white snapper, and others.   

 3 hours duration.  Pemba Island is the temple of spices!  Take a tour of the island and view the different spice farms, such as cloves, crucmers and others. Learn about the history of the spices, and enjoy water and local fruits. 

3 hours duration.  This special tour will take you to a ceremony with our local voodoo witch doctor.  Come learn about black magic, and even get a treatment for yourself.   Your price includes transport, entrance, and support of the village and guides.

 Full Day duration.  Misali Island is the best island on Pemba! You can take this full-day trip by car or by boat.  You will see many small islands of Pemba, and also snorkel on Misali Island, which has the best reefs!  Also see the legendary flying foxes on this tour.  This tour includes lunch, water and fresh fruits. 

 Full Day duration.  Discover the long and interesting history of Pemba Island by visiting the capital city of Pemba, and the neighboring town of Wete.  You will visit historical site of Pemba  museum and Old Portuguese fort. Also visit the mangroves site to see flying foxes and Dhow Harbour.

3 hours duration.  We will take you to view local life in the village, where you can meet friendly local people and view big fruit trees like baoba and mango. You can also visit a cave and climb the lighthouse, see the students practicing in school, and cook with locals. Transport by foot, bike, local transport and car.

4 hours duration.  We will show you the longest beach on Pemba Island, where local women keep themselves busy farming seaweed. You can have a taste of seaweed soup! Transport by foot, bike, local transport.

4 hours duration.  Everything included in the above tour, but also with a visit to the lake.

All day duration.  Visit the high top of the sunbank, located on the east side of the island. You will also be able to snorkel. Transport is 1.5 hours by speedboat. The trip includes lunch, fresh fruit and fresh water. This is the best trip on Pemba Island!

4-5 hours duration.  Visit the most splendid beach on northern Pemba while having some of our tropical fruits and soft drinks.  Later on, refresh your mind by exploring the forest situated close to the beach, and you will be able to discover the beauty of the natural vegetation. 

Half-day duration.  Take a 40-minute speedboat ride, or a 1-hour sailboat ride, to Njau island, where you can enjoy snorkeling and beautiful mangroves.  Fresh fruit and water is included in this trip.  Don't miss this exciting addition to your holiday!
